Throughout her life, Gail has come to understand that adversity provides incredible opportunities for growth. When we acknowledge and acquire awareness around our difficult life experiences while simultaneously holding love and compassion for ourselves (and others), there can be much to gain from going within. Trauma can have deep impact in our lives on multiple levels and being able to find supportive modalities and tools to assist the healing/human journey and encourage personal growth in order to re-calibrate to a higher state- one centered around love, self reliance and a renewed sense of hope can be very beneficial- especially today! And remembering that within us, we hold and have access to our deepest essence that no one can take away. Connecting with this essence is our birthright. We are human and we are a soul. Allowing ourselves to be fully human while also tuning into our soul essence can help us respond to the things we experience in a more grounded, heart-centered way.
Martha Beck once said, "Emotional discomfort, when accepted, rises, crests, and falls in a series of waves. Each wave washes a part of us away and deposits treasures we never imagined. Out goes naivete, in comes wisdom; out goes anger, in comes discernment; out goes despair, in comes kindness. No one would call it easy, but the rhythm of emotional pain that we learn to tolerate is natural, constructive, and expansive... the pain leaves you healthier than it found you."
Gail is a highly sensitive empath who began practicing Reiki over nine years ago at the height of a dark night of the soul when she came to an understanding of how to begin transcending traumatic experiences and create healthy energetic and personal boundaries so she could lead a purpose-driven life.
Gail attended her first sound meditation in December of 2013 and found that sound allowed an easier transition from the constant mind chatter to a more peaceful, tranquil place. In that meditation, her heart center completely expanded and a huge shift took place in her life. From that initial experience with sound, Gail immersed herself in the study of sound healing and began incorporating sound into her daily meditations and Reiki treatments.
Gail attended Health Coach training in 2017 through Duke Integrative Medicine's Integrative Health and Well-Being Coach Training Program and finished the program in 2018. She learned that making changes to diet and lifestyle was imperative not just to to overall health, but especially important for pursuing a spiritual path. Gail is intimately familiar with the frustrations of health challenges (and not always finding helpful answers through conventional medicine) and has been a faithful follower Medical Medium, Anthony William's information. She has attained much healing through incorporating that specific guidance and she is passionate about supporting others who are curious about or have chosen that path.
Gail completed HeartMath® BPR Mentor certification in the spring of 2021 and personally utilizes and teaches the techniques to help others build resilience and coherence, which is a state of optimal function that can be beneficial for overall health. The mission of HeartMath® (to help people bring their physical, mental and emotional systems into balanced alignment with their heart's intuitive guidance) resonates deeply because she feels that our hearts are a gateway to the higher realms and is where our true essence resides. When we tap into the qualities of the heart, such as- love, compassion, care, peace, intuition, courage, strength, beauty, joy, wisdom, gratitude, creativity, truth, trust, faith, and forgiveness, we are pursuing a more positive and empowered way forward.
In all sessions, she tends to each client with an open heart and the highest compassion and sets the clear intention to assist them in connecting with their inner guidance and wisdom while awakening to the healer that lies deep within. While working with Gail, you will be given useful tools for relaxing, meditating, incorporating mindfulness into your life, grounding, becoming aware of/protecting your energy, clearing space and working through the impact every day stress and past traumas can have on body/mind/spirit. She loves to share resources and plant seeds of hope for those who don't feel seen, heard or fully understood.
